There are certain rules required when creating a 501 c 3 group one being you have to file taxes and another would be you must have a EIN (Employer ID Number).
David Koch’s Americans for Prosperity taxes show false, incorrect, and misleading information was given to the IRS. AFP’s 2011 taxes show they gave money to a United for Mo’s future, which is really United for Missouri’s Future. The parent organization or creator of the group is United for Missouri. In Americans for Prosperity taxes they give $50,000. to a group who’s EIN is correct and in fact it seems to never exist. Upon researching more than one databases it seems this group does not exist. The only place this group exist is in the website it created stating it’s a 502 c 3 group. Their website shows it is current for 2013. Some how in the middle of creating a website they forgot the EIN and forgot to file their taxes.
I even checked the revoke list of 501 c 3 groups and the name United for Missouri’s Future could not be found among them.
AAmerican for Prosperity taxes show a $50,000 donation to United for Missouri’s Future. How do you not file your taxes especially when you are a 501 c 3 group, considered tax-exempt.
I know I did not see $50,000 showing for the 501 c 4 parent organization United for Missouri
So then calls into question who knew what, because where did the money go if there isn’t a 501 c 3 group in existence. The Koch Brothers are heavily involved into politics so you could question whether a 501 c 3 group is really a front to donate to 501 c 4 group. If this is a real registered group in existence, this organization is missing a lot of the required information.
And the people involved from AFP to the creator of United for Missouri there is a lot of experience with politics and these outside groups. Besides the Koch brothers and all their political involvement across the United States, former state Rep. Carl Bearden was head of the Missouri Chapter of Americans for Prosperity before he left to create the United for Missouri I am blogging about. That is certainly one reason the Koch brothers would donate to this group since they knew or knew of the person running it., but then they donated rather to United for Missouri’s future not to United for Missouri.
Is this new way of funneling of political donations.
Could it be a plot for AFP to hide their political organization by using non-existent 501 c 3 group or is this something much more that calls into question so what really happen. It’s already suspected about AFP’s political involvements go against it being a 501 c 3 group. Is this more of a cover up for that activity ot is it simply stated so where is the money. Where did it go to?
Currently there is a report that 501 c 4 group United for Missouri is having an ad blitz and the article is titled: United for Missouri begins ad blitz on Department of Revenue dispute
David Koch is listed on AFP’s taxes as chairmen of the group. I have included information that show that
I find the EIN listed for United for Missouri’s Future interesting, There is something very telling about this EIN given that the numbers are so similar to the Parent organization, but only one of those numbers exist. You don’t pick your numbers these are generated (likely by a computer) by the IRS. Perhaps it’s possible but these two EIN sequence and patterns in their numbers appear to be too similar.
United for Missouri’s Future so-call EIN, with the 501 c 4 parent organization United for Missouri EIN
United for Missouri’s Future listed on American for Prosperity Taxes says as follow:
EIN: 27-3222200 or 273222200 (There is no information showing that this EIN number or group exist.
United for Missouri 27-3005502 or 273005502
In comparison look at the EIN of Americans for Prosperity and it’s foundation. I would have you note that the IRS gives these numbers an there is no similarity what so ever between the two. AFP’s EIN are quite different.
AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY FOUNDATION EIN and AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY EIN
EIN: 521527294
AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY
EIN: 753148958
I guess anything is possible, but then again there are no legal documents that show such a group is even registered. All there is to them is a website saying they are a 501 c 3 group, but they have no tax filings available. 501 c 3 groups are to provide to the public information concerning their taxes.
As in federal and in the state of Missouri they require organizations to have an EIN and to file taxes.

Please note that an EIN does not give you tax-exempt status
Here is more information concerning EIN in Missouri’s Community Service page.

Organizations must be incorporated prior to applying for an EIN. There are no filing fees.
