This is the  height of lobbying kept quiet and tax-payers money is being used to pay for it.  How many times when we hear about the Southern Legislative Conference has it been mentioned that big corporations donors like  the Koch brother’s lobbyist sat on the conference committee discussing and adopting policy positions? The unformatted ALEC committee minutes that mention lobbying and funneling large donors money to another group, the Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin case, etc.

I recently located a document containing unformatted minutes or notes to an American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) committee meeting. The minutes appear to cover a range of topics. The minutes are long and have large gaps in between keying. So when you may have thought the minutes may have ended I suggest continue scrolling until you … Continue reading

Violation, Nikki Haley old Campaign Funds showed she used thousands to attend ALEC conferences, sponsor SC Pageants, membership dues to several Political organizations such as Chamber of Commerces and other groups

South Carolina guidelines says no campaign expenditures can be used for personal use. So that means that Nikki Haley couldn’t use those funds to attend several American Legislative Elective Council (ALEC) Conferences, membership dues to join various political organizations?  And well how about sponsoring a SC Pageant??? Really Nikki Haley took advantage of those who … Continue reading

Wrongful use of funds, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s APEE hosting Conferences where Koch FreedomWorks, ALEC, Heritage Foundation, etc. are involved

Is it a violation using a federally and state funded institution to plan conferences; host conferences; provide building location; use tuitions and tax payer’s money, uses school address; use business hours, to represent partisan ideals/politics of political organizations and think tanks who come together to discussed issues that concern them. The Koch Brothers have been known to host events to discuss their latest agenda. No surprise the Koch Brothers’s Charles Koch Foundation has a seat on the APEE’s executive board. Continue reading

The Truth, No Jokes, South Carolina Sponsors of the so-call Nullification Bill of the Presidents Health Care Law Mandate, are also Sponsors to another Bill in May 2013 that Mandates Individuals to Purchase Health Care Services

That said South Carolina Republicans goal is really just to throw the Federal Government in jail, however imagine my surprise that some fourteen South Carolina House of Representatives who think a Federal Mandate is illegal are also sponsoring another very current House bill with Democratic members of the South Carolina Legislature that tells citizens they will need to purchase health care services. And Futhermore the bill happily accepts the Federal Funding for Health Care. Continue reading

Some States Overlooking Mental Illness in Our states was No Accident, but by Design by Groups like the American Legislative Exchange Council, ALEC

Prior to the President’s Affordable Health Care Act there have been several bills in the United States House and the Senate concerning mental health disparity in our communities that ended nowhere. In fact instead of an increasing interest in mental illness several states have cut funding for mental illness, and as we have seen in … Continue reading

United States Congressmen Rob Bishop Pushes ALEC’s Agenda for 2013 as a Part of the ‘Fiscal Cliff’ debates, PART 1 ALEC’s Involvement on the Federal Level

There had been much talk of the Fiscal Cliff, and John Boehner’s failure to rally Republicans and the Tea Party. Republicans have been out of sorts for weeks, rather than being a Party that should be concerned about the American people they are a party concerned about the top percent they have always represented. Last … Continue reading

From Norquist, to the Koch Brothers, and the information the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform uses American Legislative Exchange Council’s (ALEC) Model Legislature, they Rely on Each Other

From Grover Norquist, Charles and David Koch, to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform, to the American Legislative Exchange Council’s (ALEC) it should come as no surprise they all work together. This is another example of them working together. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s and American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) are quite … Continue reading

The Real Truth, the Actual Year and those Responsible for Creating Republican’s American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), is a very Different Story than what ALEC has Posted on Their Website

A List of Republican’s American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) Campaign Contributions made Directly to Republican State, Federal Candidates, and Republican Committee for Election Years 1995 to 2012, a Clear Violation for a 501(c)3 Group

According to IRS rules it is prohibited that 501 (c)3 groups be involved in politics directly or indirectly and that would mean a definite ‘NO’ to campaign contributions. I have included a list of American Legislative Exchange Council donations from 1995-2012 election years. This list of campaign contribution to the following candidates from 1995-2012, name only one contributor and those funds came specifically and directly from and on the behalf of the organization, American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and no one else.

They can’t do that, but they did it anyway. Continue reading

An ALEC Movement, In a 2009 Koch Press Release It Speaks of a New Project where Koch Lobbyist Would Play Bigger Roll in Monitoring Governmental Affairs and Legislature in Majority of the States, Included the Names of Who is Involved in Your State

Koch Industries promotes the message of ALEC and it permeates through all its companies. Koch brothers in this mindset if possible would have ownership in everything they touch. It is reflective in their current fight to gain the majority stocks in Libertarian Think Tank the Cato Institute. In 2009 out of 50 states Koch sent … Continue reading

The Joke, Republicans’s ALEC, American Legislative Exchange Council Calling Themselves a 501 (c)(3) Group, Clearly They are in Violation

501 (C) (3) is tax-exempt is the only reason so many of these Republican Think Tanks are filing to be, only thing is they don’t represent anything a 501 (c)(3) group is supposed to be. I thought the Heritage Foundation was bad, but for Alec to say they aren’t involved in politics is beyond a … Continue reading

Grover Norquist Power Extends Beyond Americans For Tax Reform, A Brief look at Who is Really Running Your State Legislature and Training Private Companies To Get What they Want

We often associate Grover Norquist Americans for Tax Reform, but Mr. Norquist power extends farther than the No Tax Pledge. Besides working in the past at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, lobbying and working with some of the corrupt in the Republican Party, Grover has been recognized for coining the phrase for then the First George Bush ‘No New Taxes’; According the Americans Rights at Work Website Grover Norquist also has another group called the Alliance for Worker Freedom (AWF). Probably out of all the groups that Grover Norquist deals with the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is probably the mostly powerful and they are in your state Running and Directing things from Private Corporation to your Political Leaders on how to push a Conservative Agenda a government with less regulation, the EPA, School Vouchers, etc., etc., etc. Continue reading
