Former Koch Industries Lawyer is a current member of the U.S. House of Representatives

Koch brothers have years of experience from campaign contributions, lobbying, and using other organizations to push their agenda. Did these two brothers seek another means to push their agenda. Could the Koch Brothers appetite for politics and power be the stepping stone that would groom a politician who could support their agenda. From college to straight to a job at Koch Industries and directly into politics, a path, that would take him to the United States House of Representatives and maybe a political path that carried the Koch agenda.
Peculiar as a state presentative he took a lawyer position as a partner in a law firm’s public affairs. Any lobbying in that? Coincidently right after this U.S. Congressman first assumed office to the U.S. House of Representatives the Koch brothers lobbyist organization, Koch Public Sector LLC, hired this Congressman’s firm to lobby for them.

Out of all the firms the Koch brothers could have choosed, they chose this one.

This Congressman’s firm states the following: “They provides high-level strategic services and government affairs counsel to global corporations, industry associations and non-profit organizations with interests before the United States Congress, the White House and Federal Agencies.. …….developing and executing customized strategies that successfully navigate Washington’s complex legislative, political and regulatory processes”.

Odd, Koch Brothers gets State grants and incentives, but when their Employees had grievances, and a Union got involved, then 80% of Koch employees were Laid Off

Government records show up until that moment of laying off workers, the Koch Brothers were seeking new permits and were given those permits. The things that don’t make sence, it was 2008 and while others companies were struggling the Koch brother was are throwing around their money politically. In a recent blog about the Koch brothers I retain information concerning how one church organized to help Koch brothers laid off worker. Even in 2013 since 2008 and 2009 the Koch brothers have never spent so much in lobbying Continue reading

Koch Industries, BP-Alaska, and ConocoPhillips Filed in 2011 to Raise Cost of Interstate Transport of Crude Oil, Effecting What You Pay, While Fighting Taxes They Have to Pay (Complete Wording of Document Filing Included)

Besides donating to politicians; to Republican foundations; Republican PACs; giving to Republican groups that create commercials, advertise, and attack on the behalf of Republican candidates; Lobbying on many issues; to paying corporate fines for violations, you could probably quickly estimate the oil and gas companies in the last decade have spent well over billions to likely up toward a trillion dollars if not over in wasteful spending and yet they have the nerve to say you need to pay more and not them. The oil and gas companies dislike the federal government, but when it comes to getting more money out of you they ran to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), seeking to raise the rates on you.
