Mick Zais Tells Republican Supporters South Carolina Students are Being Taught by Liberal Bias Teachers and Liberal TextBooks, While South Carolinians Are Wondering Why He Won’t Go After the ‘Race To the Top Money’ (Video)

planetusa.us
we are in

***Very important to pay attention towards the last part of the Video. He mentions the liberal bias at one point some where in the middle and at the last segment of his talk its all about this so call liberal bias ***Video may take a few seconds to start. Mick Zais talks about other things but I wanted you to see for yourself Mick Zais discuss what he calls the so-call liberal bias and the Liberal books that are taking over our schools. Take no offense if I sound cynical in this first part of this blog, it is only done at the disbelief why South Carolina parents and teachers worrying about school cuts and the money to pay for things that’s needed, Mick Zais is worrying about the supposed liberal bias in our schools. For many of you know South Carolina is one of the staunches Republican State Republicans count on time and time again. So when many were pleading for South Carolina Superintendent Mick Zais to go after the Race to the Top money he was giving a speech on how schools are sounding too liberal bias. Excuse me, but First President George Washington uses the word liberal himself, are we to write him out of our history books as well?

Perhaps South Carolina Superintendent Mick Zais would want us to use Censorship on any form of the words liberal and Democrat in our schools.

The citizens of the United States of America have the right to applaud themselves for having given to mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policy worthy of imitation. All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship. It is now no more that toleration is spoken of as if it were by the indulgence of one class of citizens that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights, for happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.
George Washington, letter to the Hebrew Congregation of Newport, Rhode Island, September 9, 1790

George’s fault. He started it. I guess he can written out of our American History books, and Thomas Jefferson he can forget it he created the ideal Church is Separate from State

Did I mention Republicans control much of the politics of South Carolina as well as state-wide offices, but apparently Zais has is concern your child may not grow up to be Conservative?
Apparently whether you child grows up and think Conservative is more important than how well your child is doing in schools. No instead he’s worrying about your child maybe become influence to by these so-call llllliberal textbooks. (As I say this in a hush voice)

This is Scary.

So is Zais saying that some how the Democratic Party is brain washing your children with subliminal messages?

Oh my

Maybe that’s why Republican wants to get rid of funding for the arts and ETV those Subliminal Messages. I guess they say if we don’t have in the pictures were broadcasting signals to all South Carolina Children to vote Democrat when they grow up. Big Bird might be in on it too. The yellow might remind them of a yellow bananna, and that banannas are good for you. If Republicans don’t want the President telling your children to eat healthy, they probably don’t want these shows on these Public Broadcasting stations telling your children to eat healthy as well since they would be funded with government money. (Sarcastically) If they did that, that would makes government grow bigger. You do know here have been made references to Sesame Street in the past, but I’m just going there.

See (sarcastically), Its all coming together now.

You know the President Obama did read one of the most popular Children books with kids and adults, ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. I guess now because the President read that book it’s now a Democratic book, so now when these children grow up they are going to associate with the President and like ‘Bingo’, they will all be voting for the Democratic Party when they grow up.

Excuse I’m just trying to see how we jump to teachers out of work and children going to schools learning on a empty stomach.

See I wasn’t too cynical, but forgive me if anyone did take offense but this is nothing more than an elected official who main concern is keeping his elected office.

So needless to say I would have to wonder at any state elected official who major concern is that the liberal might be found in our textbooks, but there we are at and that elected official would be no other than Mick Zais. My first blog on Mick Zais involved him wanted to re-write South Carolina textbooks so that words like liberal and Democratic Society are not mention. So why many in the state are wondering why South Carolina Superintendent of Education isn’t going after that Race to the Top Money he is too busy giving speeches on how to create textbooks removing words that may make your child a liberal. We got students who only meal is the one they get at school and South Carolina Superintendent getting paid by your taxes wants to spend more of your tax dollars on making sure not that your students are the brightest students in the nation. No, instead he wants to make sure your children won’t grow up to be a Democrat.

Just recently I wrote about Republicans creating these Voter ID Bills that would cost states millions while they also cutting funding in public education. In one state alone each district is expected to pay at least $1 million on elections where have seen nothing of major voter fraud, besides the machines themselves didn’t work as they should. Where in true tradition of GOP’s wasteful spending plans let me just add this too the pile. This is just another example of wasteful spending.

Whether or not your Republican or Democrat I think we both know that this state leans pretty conservative and not only should that not be the focus of our Superintendent. It is not the job of Mick Zais to grow the Republican or Conservative Party. The name of that previous blog back in August 2010 was called Politics: South Carolina Candidate Superintendent of Education Debate Between Frank Holleman and Mick Zais and a little Texas Politics, https://fredericacade.wordpress.com/2010/08/26/politics-south-carolina-candidate-superintendent-of-education-debate-between-frank-holleman-a

In that blog is another link of a video with Mick Zais talking about school textbooks being liberal. http://www.thesunnews.com/2010/06/25/1552561/rivals-debate-hot-button-topics.html
Last Year before Zais started talking about it I blogged about the Texas School board of Education who felt their Texas book were teaching their students more about other religious groups rather than Christianity.
It was written in the Dallas Morning News, “the board will consider a resolution … that would warn publishers not to push a pro-Islamic, anti-Christian viewpoint in world history textbooks.” The newspaper adds that:

“A preliminary draft of the resolution states that ‘diverse reviewers have repeatedly documented gross pro-Islamic, anti-Christian distortions in social studies texts’ across the U.S. and that past social studies textbooks in Texas also have been ‘tainted’ with pro-Islamic, anti-Christian views.”

I wonder will this get George Washington kicked out of American history books for this statement:

It was back in May 2010 that the Texas School boards with a 9 to 5 vote, they voted to change the text in their Social studies and history books because they thought the books were liberal bias. Before the vote with a prayer from Cynthia Dunbar (R), she stated the origins of the country were “a Christian land governed by Christian principles.”
It is expected those books should be ready by fall 2011.

I felt compelled to write this and studying our Founding Fathers words and the beliefs for Separation of Church and State and just how Republicans our spending money on other things like a voter ID bill that I felt the need to provide another example that the only concern o the Republican Party is how they can stay in office. I have included a video of Mick Zais. The Second part of the video speaks of nothing else except for the need of preserving Conservatives views. At the time this video was made many in the state were wondering why Zais would not apply or the $50 million in race to the Top
