Is it a violation using a federally and state funded institution to plan conferences; host conferences; provide building location; use tuitions and tax payer’s money, uses school address; use business hours, to represent partisan ideals/politics of political organizations and think tanks who come together to discussed issues that concern them. The Koch Brothers have been known to host events to discuss their latest agenda. No surprise the Koch Brothers’s Charles Koch Foundation has a seat on the APEE’s executive board. Continue reading

I did not know there was any interest in this particular blog post until I saw it posted on another organizations website twice but my name was missing or any reference to my website was missing. This blog was posted in its entirety without any mention or credit that I had written it making it appeared as if someone else had written it. Posts made from the mainstream media were given credit for their work but because my post came from a blog I guess, my name was omitted. For that reason I am reposting the very same blog. “Huge Republican donor, the Koch Brothers, Their own company filed Bankruptcy while holding millions in State municipal Leases and Bonds” Continue reading

Updated with additional information. This is a total differrent story and more current and present more than anyone may realize, but it is still a follow up to prior blog which happened only a couple of years ago. How far does the story go, remains a question? This too like prior blog was a part of recent questions I sought. This is a follow up to prior blog: New York State consulted the Koch Brother’s Company concerning their contracting of Election Voting Machines……………………………… Continue reading
The Koch Brothers are known for oil and energy and are lesser known for some of its other companies. Not only have the Koch brothers spent millions on elections, many states have spent millions using them as leasing company, and the one question remained did the Koch Brothers have anything involved to do with the … Continue reading
“The term “no-bid contract” is a popular phrase for what is officially known as a “sole source contract” which means that there is only one person or company that can provide the contractual services needed, so any attempt to obtain bids would only result in that person or company bidding on it.” From all appearances it appeared Koch Financial was a company no more however two reports date 2013 show this company still operates. Is Was it the need to appear no longer in existence have something to do with the Koch Brothers funding of political campaigns, organizations, Think-Tanks, advertisements. There are certain guidelines for municipal companies in regards to campaign contributions. Financial companies such as the Koch brothers stand the risk of getting into what is call ‘Pay to Play’. In North Carolina they have what is now considered the strictest rules concerning voting in the country. They aren’t boasting, but the Koch brothers and the North Carolina Chamber lobbied on the personal rights of North Carolina citizens. “The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established the CAAAC on November 19, 1990″
No surprise the Koch brothers had to pay penalties for an environmental violations. The surprise is one of the biggest polluters is a part of a federal and senior committee concerning the environment and has done so for years. Make no mistake in believing the Koch brothers involvement in the EPA is because Continue reading
EPA is Federal government agency, where Republicans and the Koch brothers would do away with, and if you saw some of the history concerning Koch brothers environmental violations you can understand my questions of them being a part of such a program. Koch Brothers’s, Jim Groninger while lobbying in several states apparently is listed on … Continue reading
Government records show up until that moment of laying off workers, the Koch Brothers were seeking new permits and were given those permits. The things that don’t make sence, it was 2008 and while others companies were struggling the Koch brother was are throwing around their money politically. In a recent blog about the Koch brothers I retain information concerning how one church organized to help Koch brothers laid off worker. Even in 2013 since 2008 and 2009 the Koch brothers have never spent so much in lobbying Continue reading
Shameful that on some church’s bulletin there was an update to their members on their actions of how they were helping the laid off workers of two Billionaires brothers. Shameful, two of Forbes top Billionaires, Charles G. Koch and David H. Koch will spin millions in politics and funding the cost of many political tanks and yet have very little value in their employees. Overlooked, the employees that made and kept these two brothers billionaires. Shameful that a church had to specifically form a group to help these two billionaire’s laid off workers. The reason for my revisiting this blog is because I had two questions I wanted answered? Could an elected officials benefit from other Agencies pool investments and when it appeared the Koch brothers had no lobbying was it done through a lesser known entities? The Koch brothers are one of the biggest political donor across the country. Can elected officials benefit from a state’s investment in Koch Industries? Yes. Did Koch Industries lobby in Tennessee while the state invested over a $150 million in companies own by Koch Industry? Yes, and as usual it won’t be a company you would think owned or associated with the Koch brothers. Upon further research I found out how Tennessee elected officials removed any representation from the state’s teachers on how the states money should be invested and placed it in the hand of the state legislature and other elected officials. Also the research that says caution ahead if elected officials are investing the money. How big is this company that is owned by Koch Industries but isn’t commonly known to be own by Koch Industries? This big company that isn’t commonly known to be owned by the Koch brothers has been described as the nation’s largest oil… Continue reading
***A correction it was actually November 2011 when the Tennessee government listed their last investment into the Koch Brothers. There are no mentions of any fines or any kind of punishment towards Koch Refining Company. It appears had Koch brothers got more protection from the SCDHEC than the environment did. It also appears that the Koch brothers didn’t even clean up the mess. According to documents it appears the new company will be voluntary cleaning up the mess for the prior owner. SCDHEC is supposed to stand for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, but they knows the land in Charleston is contaminated but they are allowing for expansion, and have promised not to hold the new property owner responsible if people get sick. There are certain rules required when creating a 501 c 3 group one being you have to file taxes and another would be you must have a EIN (Employer ID Number). David Koch’s Americans for Prosperity taxes show false, incorrect, and misleading information was given to the IRS. AFP’s 2011 taxes show they gave money … Continue reading
If that’s the case then a corporation could give all their money to the charitable foundation to avoid paying taxes and just have the tax-exempt foundation pay for everything for the corporation, or then not to make it not so obvious, the tax-free exempt foundation pays a small cost of something where it isnt so obvious.
Second problem, which is probably the first problem the family members that make up this foundation board. As you see will see that almost near the bottom I have added what would be considered a Corporate Foundation guidelines. And in those Corporate Foundation guidelines it states both activities as mentioned in this blog would be prohibited.
Who are Koch Brothers, you may ask. Well they are two brothers, who own several companies, like Koch Industries which is an oil and gas company. They are the political force behind the Republicans, Conservative, Libertarians, Tea Party agenda. Politicians may come and go, but they remain to lead the way in pushing the Libertarian, Republicans, and Conservative, and Tea Party agenda. I still can’t find any other corporations that did the same. We know Koch brothers don’t like taxes anyway. So how is that fair and not make us suspicious. The Koch Brothers did this for several years. We can only look at taxes beginning from 2001 because foundations did not have to provide them prior to that year. So the Koch Brothers could have been funding this group for decades prior to 2001. To get earlier records it takes a little more red tape, and only then you may only can get records going back to 1987. Could you imagine if all corporation created tax-exempt foundations and then you funnel that tax-exempt money back from the foundation to pay for certain cost to the Parent company employees by avoiding to pay taxes. Talk about not paying your Fair Share, and raising a Red flag, what other money could be funnel back. Like any company a foundation have their own operation costs, and with their own operation costs, so why would they need to turn around to feed the corporation that created. I would think a foundation and a parent company/the corporation that created it would have separate operation costs so questions won’t be raised. Considering the Koch Brothers, involvement in politics, supreme court cases, funding Conservative Think-Tank around the countries, lobbying, etc, etc, etc. The list is long of their questionable activity. How does a Charitable Foundation pay back a Billionaire company? That foundation operation’s cost should be separated from corporation due to its tax-exempt status. This information is concerning one of the foundations other own Koch foundations were not looked at. Just this one….
One quick way of course to stop this corporate take over from the people of the country led by two billionaire brothers and anyone else with a similar agenda is to stand up and vote these politicians out of office who push their agenda. However we can’t stop there because there are laws here and there such as Citizen’s United that have done much harm in stamping out the voice of the people. It means we have to pay also attention to politicians and judges running for office and commission appointments and judges that appointed to office on the state. local, and federal level. Simply stated as voters we should be Voting, following the money spent on elections and lobbying, watching, and participating in the discussion every chance you get on all bills being voted on, all Elections, all Appointments, etc., etc., etc. from the local, state, and the federal level. All of these things plus those not mentioned have effects on our daily lives. Continue reading
Many people do not know who the Koch Brothers are, well they are behind the politics you don’t see in this country. For the most part the American people only hear about what their politicians do. Well politicians may come and go, but the Koch Brothers remain and have been around for years making these Billionaires even more powerful because they are the established machine running things behind the scene. Well how about a major oil and gas company, like Koch Industries spending millions politics to make certain legislatures, while also bringing lawsuits up and down our court systems where they find up in our United States Supreme Court And of course these cases are cases that benefit and support the Libertarian or Conservative ideologies and agenda. One of the cases this group is bringing would be Shelby County v. Holder. Just like Grover Norquist’s Tax Pledge was a coördinated effort of one man to stop Conservative leaders from raising taxes there has been for years a coördinated effort of conservatives to push the political agenda in our court systems. Koch Brothers helped to provide the operation cost or research of the Pacific Legal Institute,;legal Conservative organization group bring Supreme Court cases across the country. How long the Koch brothers have funded this group is another question raised, because for right now we only access going back to 2001. To get earlier records it takes a little more red tape, and only then you may only can get records going back to 1987. I imagine that Conservatives talk about government being in your business and yet for decades they have pushing Supreme Court cases to promote their political agenda. There is a reason why the Conservative, Republican, Libertarian can’t get beyond the game of politics to promote the agenda of the people. They have two billionaire brothers running things.

How does a foundation that claims free-tax exemptions, then turn around and give funding to its Parent corporation? I’ve looked at other foundations before and I decided to take another look at some more foundations; and after seeing this I have yet to see a foundation give money back to the Parent company. In this case a Koch Foundation gave money to two of the Koch brother’s companies. Would you be surprised the Koch family sat on the board of the foundation?

This document is concerning a report that was sponsored by this think-Tank on behalf of the man behind the push to get rid of the Voting Rights Act. The group held an event concerning this. I have also updated my list of Scalia’s involvement with this Think-Tank. I will further update if more is found.
Justice Scalia has I involvement spanning from 1977 to late 2012 with this Conservative Think-Tank. That very Think-Tank prior to 2009 held an event that was named “Is the Voting Rights Act Constitutional?” The man pushing the Supreme Court was also the participant at this event. Continue reading
Why does it not surprise me that the Koch Brothers have lead the way on lobbying a bill that demands transparency for those who benefited from a company. Upon further research it appears there are at least three deals created that don’t have anything to do with Koch’s Flint Hill’s, but show Koch Industries has a variety of partnerships with Enbridge and its partner, Enterprise Product Partners who have a similar project to the Keystone XL expansion.
